How to tell if a Fuel can needs to be replaced
Dec 21, 2024
Appearance inspection
Check the tank for obvious dents, corrosion, rust or damage.
If there is severe deformation or damage, it may affect its safety and performance and need to be replaced.
Leak Detection
Get close to the tank and smell whether there is a fuel leak.
You can also use soapy water to apply to the interface and valve to observe whether there are bubbles. If there is leakage, it should be replaced.
Burning Effect
If the flame is unstable, the color is abnormal (such as yellowing or smoking), or the heat output is significantly reduced, it may mean that there is a problem with the heat source and it needs to be replaced.
Use life
Refer to the recommended service life of the product. After the period has expired, it is recommended to replace the product, even if the appearance and performance appear normal, as the parts may pose a safety hazard due to aging.
Damaged parts
Check whether the burner, valve, nozzle and other components are damaged, blocked or cannot be adjusted normally.
Damaged parts may affect normal use and safety.
Abnormal pressure
For canned heat sources that have a pressure display, high or low pressure may indicate a problem and require inspection or replacement.
Security authentication failure
If the relevant safety certification of the product has expired or is no longer valid, it is recommended to replace it to ensure safety.
