Precautions for using fuel ethanol
Oct 11, 2024
When using fuel ethanol, please pay attention to the following matters:
1. Consumers should be highly vigilant when restaurants use liquid alcohol as hot pot fuel, and do not get close to or touch the waiter when he adds alcohol.
2. If you use liquid alcohol as the fuel for the hot pot, you must add more alcohol after it is completely extinguished. It is absolutely forbidden to add alcohol to a burning alcohol stove or an uncooled alcohol stove to avoid fire.
3. When using liquid alcohol as fuel, use an indirect ignition instead of a lighter to ignite it directly, so as to avoid injuring your hands by applying improper force during ignition and getting alcohol on them.
4. Liquid alcohol cannot be added directly to the hot pot from a large pot. It should be divided into small portions and added later to reduce the extent of damage caused by improper use.
5. Alcohol should be stored separately from liquor to avoid accidental drinking. If you drink it by mistake, you must seek medical attention immediately.
6. Do not panic when a fire occurs. Use a fire extinguisher and a wet towel to put out the fire immediately. It is strictly forbidden to use water or a dry towel to put out the fire. Otherwise, if the fire is ignited by alcohol, the fire will get bigger and bigger.
7. It is recommended to use solid alcohol as fuel.
Fuel ethanol. Its process flow is generally divided into five stages, namely liquefaction, saccharification, fermentation, distillation, and dehydration. The second-generation fuel ethanol technology uses lignocellulosic material as raw material to produce ethanol. Compared with the first-generation technology, the second-generation fuel ethanol technology must first be pretreated, that is, to remove lignin and increase the looseness of the raw materials to increase the contact between various enzymes and cellulose and improve enzyme efficiency.
After the raw materials are broken down into fermentable sugars, they undergo fermentation, distillation and dehydration.
